Arizona was a relaxing and informative trip. I mean I'm always learning and open to learning so I don't think there has ever been a time where I went to Arizona and DIDN'T learn something. I hooked up with my cousin Jennifer in Tempe, AZ. The highlight of my visit with Jennifer was when we took our children to "The Nest" on Wednesday morning. The Nest is a community of women that get together and chat and network. Across the street was the "Babymoon Inn."
Jennifer and I spent some quality time together along with our families. Our daughters played well together despite their huge age difference. Later on Wednesday, we headed to Sedona. It was absolutely wonderful. The weather in Sedona was perfect. We hiked on various trails and visited the hummingbird man, Ross Hawkins. I also worked on my Origami skills and made a few items too. I walked up to Bell Rock around 7am ish Thursday morning ( wasn't early enough) and spent some quiet time in meditation and prayer. I love staying by Bell and Courthouse Rock. Oak Creek Canyon was one of the highlights of Sedona. Putting my feet in the Oak Creek too, although I don't care too much for the way the rocks and pebbles feel under my feet. Ouch! Stimulation my arse!
